Students and Alumni at Northeastern University have had enough of Northeastern's refusal to Divest from Apartheid Israel. Northeastern claims they can't divest because "it would not “support efforts to curtail students’ experiential learning options, impose a political test on employers, nor use its endowment as an instrument to serve specific political agendas or weigh in on matters upon which reasonable people can disagree.”
Northeastern simultaneously politicizes the lives of Palestinians and claims they won't divest from companies with ties to the Israeli military because it would be considered political, severe hypocrisy on Northeastern's part. Our agenda is one of maintaining our humanity, and that means divesting from companies collaborating with Israel as they commit genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, a genocide that to this day, Northeastern refuses to recognize in any way.

We are here to inform Northeastern University that we do not need these companies to find success as students. Northeastern should encourage students to be empathetic members of society in a world that accommodates people of all different backgrounds, ethnicities, beliefs, and religions, instead of pushing us to work with companies that have absolutely no regard for human life.
