Oakland County has a patchwork of public transit services that vary town by town, even though our lives don't end at our city's borders. Some communities are completely inaccessible to people who don't drive.
Driving shouldn't determine our destiny. It's time for Oakland County to go all-in for public transit!
For the first time ever, SMART can go on the ballot with a pro-transit Oakland County Commission and County Executive. The Commission can place funding for transit and mobility services on the ballot countywide for the whole county to vote on, invest in, and benefit from.
