The pandemic has impacted the dynamic of our daily life. Work from home is starting to be more than a safety measure against the corona virus, since a lot of companies started to close completely or reduce their office space and choose the home office as the new standard. This brings new issues for us as the workers and we want to solve them.

We, Work on Wire, are an initiative of workers in the ICTS sector that strives to improve working conditions.

We demand:

1. Fair home office compensation - an automatic lump sum for all the worker of the company, retroactive from the obligatory HO from the March of 2020, taking into consideration the increase of energy prices and the inflation.

2. Health and safety on home office - equipment sufficient for ensuring our physical health as well as active help with mental health.

3. The right to choose between home office and the office - employees should have a say in decision where they will work, taking into consideration the public health measures.

4. The right to disconnect and have privacy at home - employees should not be disturbed by work outside of working hours. Employees should not be monitored under excessive surveillance.

Pandemie ovlivnila náš každodenní život. Práce z domova začíná být víc než jen bezpečnostní opatření proti koronaviru. Spousta společností začala zavírat nebo zmenšovat své kancelářské prostory a jako nový standard volí home office. To pro nás jako pro pracující přináší nové výzvy, na které chceme reagovat.

My, Práce na drátě, jsme iniciativa pracovníků a pracovnic v ICT sektoru, která usiluje o zlepšení pracovních podmínek.

Požadujeme:

1. Spravedlivou kompenzaci za práci z domova - automatickou paušální částku pro všechny pracující zohledňující ceny energií a inflaci, a to zpětně od povinného HO od března 2020.

2. Ochranu zdraví na home office - vybavení dostatečné pro zajištění našeho fyzického zdraví i aktivní podporu duševního zdraví.

3. Právo volby mezi prací z domova a kanceláří - zaměstnanci a zaměstnankyně by měli mít slovo při rozhodování o tom, kde budou pracovat, s ohledem na opatření v oblasti veřejného zdraví.

4. Právo odpojit se a mít doma soukromí - zaměstnanci a zaměstnankyně by neměli být rušeni prací mimo pracovní dobu a ani by neměli být pod nadměrným dohledem.

Je čas zasadit se o změnu!

Podpisem tohoto otevřeného dopisu přispějete k vytvoření tlaku na ty, co mají rozhodovací pravomoc, konkrétně na vládu a sdružení zaměstnavatelů ABSL (Association of Business Service Leaders in the Czech Republic).
