Donald Trump’s budget was just released. And it breaks his promises to working people in order to pay for a $6 trillion tax cut―mostly to millionaires, billionaires and big corporations.

Trump’s budget will cut:

  • $610 billion from Medicaid (on top of the $840 billion cut under Trumpcare)―kicking millions of seniors, children and people with disabilities off their healthcare.
  • $192 billion from food stamps, hurting the health of low-income children.
  • $143 billion from student loans, making it a lot tougher for students to afford college.
  • $72 billion in benefits for people with disabilities and their families, including up to $64 billion in cuts to Social Security Disability Insurance. Remember, Trump promised many times he wouldn’t cut Social Security―now he’s broken that promise.
