To Whom it May Concern,

For years to date, there has been an ongoing issue at Rowan University wherein students are persistently harassed by preachers who insist on belittling, insulting, alienating, and putting down students who otherwise have and want nothing to do with the preachers.

This harassment includes slurs attacking student identities, ​and the violation of students' personal space. The preacher who stands by the circle at Rowan Blvd. specifically has even been observed putting his hands on a student.

This behavior is directly harmful to the educational environment that Rowan attempts to foster, and it stands to reason that a small number of individuals (who are not even students) detrimental to the campus should not get priority over thousands of students who are paying to be at Rowan.

It is not conducive for a good educational institution to perpetuate a lack of safety for the people paying to keep the institution running. It is a shame that nothing has been done to prevent these individuals from returning every single day to continue their cycle of discriminatory hatred.
