Petition: This shampoo for kids contains 24 harmful chemicals

Strength of Nature CEO Mario de la Guardia Jr.

We should all be able to trust that the products we use on our bodies every day, like shampoo and soap, are safe.

Recent testing found that a shampoo for kids called Just for Me contains 24 harmful chemicals, including carcinogens.

Our coalition partner Breast Cancer Prevention Partners tested the chemical content of a variety of products and what they found was shocking. Out of the 32 products they tested, Just for Me shampoo contained the largest number of harmful chemicals—more than the cleaning products they tested, including a tub and tile cleaner and a carpet spot remover.

Join us in calling on Strength of Nature, the company that makes Just for Me, to get toxic chemicals out of its kids’ shampoo!

A report from Breast Cancer Prevention Partners entitled Right to Know: Exposing Toxic Fragrance Chemicals in Beauty, Personal Care and Cleaning Products, found 24 chemicals linked to chronic health effects in your Just for Me shampoo.

I am outraged that you are making and selling a children’s shampoo laden with unsafe chemicals. Please stop putting our kids’ health at risk and reformulate your toxic product now.
