Older Americans rely on home health care and earned benefits programs like Social Security. One-fifth of DACA beneficiaries, or Dreamers, work in the health care and education sector. If they are not allowed to work or live in the U.S., it will result in a devastating shortage of labor for much needed job categories like home health aide and nursing assistants. Retirees will also miss out on the billions of dollars that Dreamers contribute to Social Security each year. Therefore, I support a path to citizenship for Dreamers, because it's the only option that will protect my economic and retirement security. Please defend DACA.
