Tell McConnell to promise to expel Roy Moore from the US Senate if he wins the election

GOP Senate Leader Mitch McConnell

Another victim has stepped forward, claiming Republican US Senate candidate from Alabama Roy Moore tried to rape her when she was 16 years old, forcing her head on to his crotch while she begged him to stop.

As proof of Moore's interest in her, the now-woman, Beverly Young Nelson, showed a yearbook from when she was 16 and a man named Roy Moore signed it, talking about how beautiful she was. Moore was 30 at the time.

The woman, who was in tears as she was telling her story today, says she was in tears as Moore attacked her while she fought him off. Then he said to her: "You are a child. I am the District Attorney of Etowah County. ‘If you tell anyone about this, no one will believe you.'"

Enough is enough. While it's not clear if the United States Senate can refuse to seat Roy Moore if he wins the special election on December 12, the Senate can expel Moore immediately upon seating him. This was a move the Senate used to get rid of serial sexual predator Senator Bob Packwood. In fact, it was Mitch McConnell who instigated the move against Packwood.

Regardless of your party, we all are Americans, and we are all human beings. Sexual predators who molest children have no place in elected office. Demand that Mitch McConnell publicly declare that he will call a vote to expel Roy Moore should he win the election on December 12.
