Protect workers at authorized retailers during COVID-19 pandemic

Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and AT&T Mobility

Many wireless workers at authorized retailers do not have the same emergency benefits for COVID-19 as workers at corporate locations. Too many workers are being left in the cold when our stores are closed, or if we show symptoms of COVID-19. Employees are often forced to use vacation time or sick time (if we have any). Some franchised locations are not receiving proper cleaning, PPE, or are not following CDC-recommended safety protocols. Those of us who are at risk or live with vulnerable loved ones are being forced to make excruciating decisions every day.

This coronavirus doesn't discriminate between a corporate or franchised location. We demand that workers at authorized retailers get the same benefits as corporate employees!

Sign our petition demanding that wireless companies take steps to address COVID-19 at authorized retailers and contractors.

In solidarity,

Nic Droxey, Victra authorized retail employee for Verizon
Alexavier Driskill, TPR authorized retail employee for T-Mobile
Amy Herrera, Alorica call center employee
Austin Carolton, Prime Communications authorized retail employee
Awbrey Morgan, Metro by T-Mobile employee
Darius Shaw, Smart Choice Mobile authorized retail employee for T-Mobile

We are calling on Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and AT&T Mobility to step up and do what must be done to protect authorized retailer employees and their customers.

We have 3 simple demands:

- Match sick leave policies of contractors and authorized/indirect retailers with that of the parent company's corporate policy for retail workers, call centers, and home-based agents, and technicians
- Provide equipment and modifications to call center workers to become home-based agents
- Provide hazard pay for workers who are required to go into work during the COVID-19 pandemic
