FIX OUR GP CRISIS! TELL FEDERAL HEALTH MINISTER GREG HUNT TO MAKE US A GP PRIORITY AREA AGAIN

Time and time again people in Bribie, Beachmere, and Caboolture tell me they are waiting up to 4 weeks to see a GP. Some can't get on the books of a local GP at all.

In 2019 the Federal Government took Pumicestone off the priority area list for GPs.

Robert and his wife love living on Bribie but they can't find a local GP, so they still drive to Brisbane for appointments.

Lee's elderly mum was very sick but she couldn't get an appointment with any local GP for ten days.

GP clinics are in danger of closing if the Federal Health Minister doesn't put our area back on the GP priority list.

Local doctors like Dr Steve Kearney from Ningi Doctors are asking for this change to keep their surgery doors open.

In July, a Caboolture GP practice closed because they couldn't find doctors to work in our area.

Local people deserve better.

Marcia says "We can't plan ahead that we're going to get sick!"

Penny says "It causes me a great deal of stress that I have to wait 3.5 to 4 weeks for an appointment with my GP."

Please, sign the petition to help fix our GP crisis.

Pumicestone locals deserve to be able to see a GP when they need one.

Come on, Minister Hunt - Pumicestone should be a priority. It's time to reclassify Bribie, Beachmere, Caboolture and surrounds as Distribution Priority Areas.
