Request for an Open Town Hall meeting with Congressman Graves

Rep. Sam Graves

Representative Sam Graves has held no public events since his re-election in 2016. It is his job to hear from his constituents here in north Missouri, but many people in our district don’t know just how absent he has been.

Think we should have a chance to see our representative face to face? Add your signature to this open letter to Rep. Graves. We will submit this letter to several area newspapers and publish it to our website.

Dear Congressman Graves:

There are many critical issues facing our country today. Our American values and the security of our nation are being threatened. It is more important than ever before that we must have someone in Congress who will represent our concerns and work on legislation that protects our democracy and our country.

On behalf of Indivisible Kansas City, I am writing to request an open town hall meeting with you for your constituents in the Kansas City area, north of the river. We realize you have closed meetings with specific organizations and businesses, but they are not open to the rest of us in your district. All your constituents must be heard.

We offer our assistance in coordinating such a meeting with your field representatives in the NW Plaza Circle office and look forward to a response from you.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
