The coronavirus pandemic is frightening. The House has passed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, which expands paid sick days and paid leave coverage for some workers, but still leaves out millions and expires at the end of 2020. Walmart, McDonald’s, Burger King, Applebees, Dollar General, Dunkin’ Donuts, Target, Chipotle and many other companies can afford to offer permanent paid sick days and leave to all workers but don’t just to keep profit margins as large as possible.
Sign our petition and urge Congress to pass a strong, permanent sick days and paid leave bill that allows all workers to protect their health and care for loved ones, during and after this emergency.
