Sen. Collins: Attend a town hall with your constituents

Senator Susan Collins

Senator Collins' vote could decide whether 20 million Americans lose their health care coverage, whether people with pre-existing conditions can get the treatment they need, or whether insurance companies can discriminate against women and people with mental health disorders. She needs to hear firsthand from Mainers about what is at stake with her vote.

That’s why MPA and Mainers for Accountable Leadership are calling on Senator Collins to have a town hall meeting with constituents during the week of February 20th. She almost always refuses to attend these kinds of meetings, but we aren’t going to take no for an answer.

Sign our petition calling on Sen. Collins to attend a town hall with constituents. We'll deliver it to her in the coming weeks.

Dear Senator Collins,

Millions of Americans, including tens of thousands of Mainers, stand to lose access to health care if the Affordable Care Act is repealed without an immediate and viable replacement. As your constituent, I am asking you to attend a town hall during the upcoming congressional recess to hear directly from Mainers and share your position on health care repeal.

Sincerely,
