The GOP budget is Trumpcare in reverse. Instead of cutting Medicare and Medicaid to provide massive tax breaks to the rich and corporations, the Republican budget is an enormous tax giveaway to millionaires, billionaires and profitable corporations, which will increase the deficit―in turn giving members of Congress an excuse to demand cuts to Medicare and Medicaid. Cutting taxes for those at the top―at a time of massive income and wealth inequality―is immoral. Cutting taxes for the rich, to then turn around and cut Medicare and Medicaid, is unconscionable. We demand that you reject the House budget and tax plan and instead protect the health care and financial security of working families and older Americans.
