Stop the union-busting at Forbes, Now!
Forbes CEO Mike Federle, Chief Content Officer Randall Lane, Chief Human Resources Officer Ali Intres, Managing Editor Joyce Bautista-Ferrari
We, the Forbes Union, are a union of more than 100 reporters, editors, producers, and designers, who work hard every day to tell impactful stories about society’s most powerful and important people.
But we have seen first-hand how the company continually puts its profits first and is blatantly hypocritical when it comes to the values it says it upholds. For over two years, senior management has dragged their feet in bargaining, showing up unprepared, hostile, and actively unwilling to compromise and make movement.
We want management to stop the union-busting and interference – and move on the issues we care most about, including editorial integrity, DEI/pay equity, a pathway for temps, and protections for remote work.
Help us tell Forbes management that enough is enough by sending them a letter with a clear message: Stop the union-busting at Forbes now!

I stand with the over 100 union members at Forbes who are demanding that management stop union-busting and interference immediately.
It is alarming that Forbes Media has treated the union with such tremendous disrespect and hostility. It shouldn’t be hard for the company to compromise on the issues their employees care most about. Forbes presents itself as an honest ambassador for old-fashioned free enterprise – but it’s far less likely to give its workers a fair deal. That’s not principled capitalism. It’s just greed.
It’s been over two years since the Forbes union formed. I hope you come to the table ready to bargain in good faith and reach a fair deal with your workers. If not, I stand ready to support Forbes workers in any further actions in their contract fight.
