The Boy Scouts of America has a longheld tradition of separating service to others and politics. On Monday, President Trump held an innocent audience captive as he desecrated this tradition and made remarks about the political circumstances he finds himself in lately.
His actions at the Boy Scout National Jamboree were unethical and dishonorable. America's children deserve a role model and a leader who demonstrates behavior appropriate of a world leader.
Boy Scouts and Eagle Scouts have already publicly denounced Trump's behavior at the event. We don't know when the next outburst will come, but we do know that the President owes Americans much more respect.
