Sign Now: Demand Congress investigate the Trump administration for repeated ethics violations
All Members of Congress
Since his first day in office, President Donald Trump has flouted ethical norms by not divesting himself from his family’s business, nor fully divulging the sources of his income. And the example he has set has percolated throughout his administration.
It was recently reported that Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner’s family received a $30 million business investment from one of Israel’s largest financial institutions on the eve of Kushner’s first visit to the Middle East last spring.
It was revealed last fall that Trump’s Commerce Secretary, Wilbur Ross, maintains financial investments with foreign entities, which have significant business ties to Russia.
Issue One Advisory Board member Richard Painter―former chief White House ethics lawyer for President George W. Bush―recently said:
“With respect to financial conflicts of interest … we have never had to deal with a president who has been dealing with foreign governments, and entities controlled by foreign governments, and refuses to disclose it, much less abide by the constitution.… He’s in violation of the constitution and we have not seen this before from other presidents.”
Sign the petition demanding Congress immediately investigate the Trump administration for repeated ethics violations including, but not limited to the Emoluments Clause, which prohibits elected officials from accepting gifts from foreign governments.

Confidence in government is largely based on the notion that elected officials and government employees don’t have a conflict of interest. And over the years, the tradition has been that presidential administrations bend over backwards to assure the American people that no such conflict exists―until now. We demand that Congress fully investigate President Donald Trump and his administration for repeated ethics violations, including the emoluments clause.
