SIGN NOW: DEMAND PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES FROM BOTH PARTIES DISCLOSE THEIR FUNDRAISING BUNDLERS

All 2020 Presidential Candidates

The strength of our democracy relies on transparency in our elections. And, in the past, presidential campaigns from both major parties have upheld a tradition of disclosing information about their top campaign fundraisers, often known as “bundlers.”

Democrats and Republicans alike, including President George W. Bush, President Barack Obama, Senator John McCain, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have released the names of their bundlers. Unfortunately, in 2016, President Trump broke with this tradition and did not release his.

Bundlers often attempt to curry favor with candidates, tapping into their personal networks to raise hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dollars for presidential campaigns. And, in return, bundlers -- who are often lobbyists -- receive plum postings in a new administration, such as ambassadorships.

We recently submitted a letter to all 2020 presidential candidates, calling on each one to release the names of bundlers who raise $50,000 or more for their campaigns, including information such as their occupation and employer.

Add your name. Become a grassroots co-signer today and demand transparency from each 2020 presidential campaign.
