The New York State Assembly is preparing to vote as early as next week on the NY TRUST Act, which would allow three separate U.S. Congressional committees to receive Trump’s state tax returns.
No matter where in the country you live, this impacts you!
It’s critical that the American people know if Trump personally benefited from the tax scam that he signed into law in December 2017. We deserve to know if he has any conflicts of interest in the U.S. or with foreign interests that could affect his exercise of official duties. And we deserve to know if, as reported, he has used “tax fraud” to avoid paying his fair share of taxes.
And since Trump is a resident of New York, which is also the headquarters of The Trump Organization, his state tax returns could be just as revealing as his federal returns.
