Democratic senators have sent a letter to President Obama asking him to declassify any and all information pertaining to the Russian government’s involvement in the U.S. election. Six of the seven senators who have signed this letter are on the Senate Intelligence Committee, so this is a significant statement.

The fact is that “intelligence” was continuously leaked during this past election season with reportedly nefarious intentions on the part of the Russian government. The American people should have a clear understanding of what influence Russia has had and if this has ramifications for the newly elected, Russian-“friendly” Donald Trump.
