Sign the petition denouncing Donald Trump for the damage his reckless words and deeds in regards to Greenland have caused to the reputation and alliances of the United States of America.
President Donald Trump
As of this writing, it appears that Donald Trump has backed down both over his implied threats to seize Greenland by force (which he ruled out entirely), and over his direct threat to impose tariffs on eight NATO allies who had opposed his purchase of Greenland.
Even so, through his words and actions on this matter, Donald Trump has done likely irreparable damage to NATO and long-term damage to our national reputation for minimal, and possibly no, gains whatsoever.
You can use this petition to express your displeasure at Donald Trump's actions.

–Signing this petition will not result in receiving emails form anyone other than Bowers News Media.
–The petition will not be delivered. It is primarily a way to vent emotionally.
–Overall, petitions do not typically make a noticeable impact. There are some exceptions, like cancelling student debt, which was an idea that came from a petition. However, that sort of outcome is pretty rare. Mostly, petitions make a difference in the way that speeches make a difference, or posting about politics on social media makes a difference, or op-ed pieces make a difference, or really the way almost any political act makes a difference. That is, all of these actions, including petitions, are part of the broader discourse promoting or raising awareness about different ideas.
–After you sign the petition, you will be redirected to an ActBlue page for Bowers Kerbel Media, the organization that operates both the Bowers News Media news and activism email list and the Wolves and Sheep political analysis and practical life advice Substack. However, no donation is required to sign the petition, and if you see this page it means that your signature has already been recorded.
