DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz

Thanks to tremendous grassroots pressure, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) has finally agreed to add an additional presidential candidate forum on Monday night in Iowa, just a week out from the caucuses.

This victory comes despite DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz's decision to schedule the smallest number of presidential debates possible.

The debate schedule is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Wasserman Schultz's poor leadership.

In early January, she accused young women'a critical voting bloc of the Democratic Party' of "complacency" in the fight for abortion rights, despite the reality that young women have been leading the charge against the Republican War on Women.

Before that, she actively tried to undermine the president's Iran deal'and has a history of putting her own political interests ahead of the Democratic party. She even refused to support Democratic challengers to three Republicans because they were personal friends.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is pursuing her own agenda at the expense of the Party. Enough is enough.

Sign the petition from Campaign for America's Future and a coalition of progressives and party activists: DNC Chair Wasserman Schultz must resign.

As DNC chair, you have repeatedly failed to act in the best interests of progressives and the Democratic Party. You have lost the trust of grassroots progressives and Democrats. Please resign as DNC Chair.
