Donald Trump intends to "decertify" the historic Iran nuclear agreement that President Obama crafted—which curtails Iran’s development of its nuclear program for 10 years, in exchange for lifting economic sanctions on Iran.

He is doing this against the counsel of his own advisers such as Defense Secretary John Mattis, and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.

The U.S. Senate would then only need 51 votes to re-impose economic sanctions on Iran, and all of the progress we have made towards peace could be over.

This is extremely dangerous, and reckless. The Senate must stand up to Trump, and say "no" to reimposing sanctions.

Do not sabotage an agreement that prevents Iran from developing nuclear weapons, and reduces the prospect of another Middle East war.
