Tucker Carlson, host of Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight, is well known to be racist, misogynistic, and homophobic, and he lets his viewers know it.

In his latest sexist rant during Thursday night’s broadcast of his talk show, Carlson asked how we wound up in a country where feminists do science. Yes, really.

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, also a frequent subject of Carlson’s and Fox News’ tirades, had a fantastic response: “Democracy and civil rights is how we got a country where ‘feminists do science.’ (Also, note how he’s drumming up fear around women’s rights to create suspicion around climate change policy. Tells you a lot.)”

AOC is spot on. Feminist scientists make our country and world better—and the advertisers on Carlson’s show need to stop buying into and supporting his unrelenting misogyny.

As of March, advertisers like Samsung Galaxy, Jenny Craig, and Cadillac were still advertising on Carlson’s show, even after his most recent major controversy. It’s time for them to pull their ads and stop funding this unrestrained bigot.
