Utah Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz is the chair of the House Oversight Committee. He has used his position to waste millions of taxpayers' money in fruitless investigations of Clinton’s emails.

But mere hours after National Security Adviser Michael Flynn resigned over clear misconduct in his duties surrounding a meeting with a Russian ambassador, Rep. Chaffetz says there is no need to investigate further.

There is ample evidence to support a series of investigations into the Trump Administration’s entire staff and their connections with Russia and our on-going national security, let alone further investigation into Michael Flynn. Even Republican senators have said today that there needs to be an investigation into what transpired between Flynn and Russia.
