After the Parkland, Florida shooting, fundraiser after fundraiser popped up to help victims and the victims’ families pay for medical bills, hospital bills, and heartbreakingly, funeral expenses.
People across the United States—and the world—have come together to give what they can to provide financial support for the shooting victims and their families. You know who hasn’t helped out? Republican politicians who’ve received millions of dollars from the NRA.
Republicans need to move beyond “thoughts and prayers” and do something actionable—like giving the same amount of money they’ve received from the NRA to the shooting victims and their families.
It is unconscionable that politicians receive millions of dollars from the NRA, but Parkland victims and their families need to ask for money online.
