Sign the petition to SEC: Investigate Trump's billionaire crony for insider trading

Billionaire investor Carl Icahn is an old friend of Donald Trump, and worked at the White House as a “special adviser on regulatory matters" before resigning in August.

Now, Trump has announced that he plans to impose tariffs on steel and aluminum.

One week before that announcement, Icahn quietly sold nearly one million shares in stock of a major company reliant on steel.

If Icahn had advance knowledge of Trump's move, that could be some serious insider trading that is illegal. The Securities & Exchange Commission must investigate.

Billionaire investor Carl Icahn sold nearly one million of shares of Manitowoc stock (a company reliant on steel) -- one week before Donald Trump announced plans to impose tariffs on steel & aluminum. As a former Trump adviser, there is reason to believe that Ichan may have had advance knowledge.

Please investigate him for insider trading.
