Sign to tell the DNC Platform Committee: No lame duck vote on TPP!

Democratic Party platform committee

Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders both oppose the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal and have both said that they oppose a vote on the TPP during a lame duck session of Congress after the November election.

The Democratic Party Platform Committee has now been formed. It includes six Clinton supporters, five Sanders supporters, and four members appointed by the DNC chair.

The four Members of Congress on the committee, Rep. Keith Ellison (named by Sanders), Rep. Luis Gutierrez (named by Clinton) and Reps. Elijah Cummings and Barbara Lee (named by the DNC chair) all oppose the TPP and voted no on Fast Track for the TPP.

Join Just Foreign Policy and Daily Kos to urge the Democratic National Convention Platform Committee to stand with Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders and adopt a platform plank in opposition to the TPP.

Sign to tell the Committee: include in the platform that there should not be a vote on the TPP after the November election -- no lame duck vote on the TPP!
