We first want to thank you, Senator Warren, for your courage and your activism around consumer financial issues and calling Wall Street and the big banks to account for the abuses that have so damaged millions of working class Americans. It must be terribly unnerving to see the damage unfolding from the Republican regime and Republicans in Congress.  

Central to the issues Americans face are the costs for accessing healthcare and the abuses of the medical-financial-industrial complex. We were so thrilled to see you repeat recently that you believe healthcare is a human right, and we know that you remain one of the nation's leading experts on medical debt/crisis and bankruptcy. Though the Affordable Care Act/Obamacare offered some protections and relief to millions of people unable to access care prior to 2010, the only real way we can achieve true healthcare justice is through a Medicare for all for life system. To repeal the ACA/Obamacare without replacing it with the most sane, humane and fiscally responsible system would be devastating to many millions of Americans.  

We, the undersigned Americans, demand that you commit to supporting Medicare for All and that you join Senator Sanders in urging your fellow Senators to do the same. More than 80 percent of registered Democrats support this option as do a strong overall majority of Americans. We need you to stand up with us and for us on this issue.
