Stop Minnesota politicians’ gerrymandering power grab

Gov. Mark Dayton and Minnesota lawmakers

Rep. Sarah Anderson is adding language to the must-pass state government funding bill that would make it nearly impossible to draw fair, competitive legislative districts. Plus, it would let political insiders draw maps around incumbent lawmakers’ addresses -- and introduce heaps of other loopholes that can easily be exploited.

Rep. Anderson’s proposal would make gerrymandering much easier in our state -- and make solving the problem that much harder. So if you agree that voters should pick our politicians, and politicians shouldn’t pick their voters, then please join me in speaking out.

Sign our petition to demand the removal of this pro-gerrymandering measure -- then call Rep. Anderson at 651-296-5511 to say Minnesotans deserve fair representation!

Minnesotans deserve a government that is truly of, by, and for the people -- and we won’t let the state budget be used to make gerrymandering easier. Rep. Anderson’s anti-voter redistricting proposal must be removed.
