Stop North Miami Beach from gutting quality public services!

Mayor George Vallejo and the North Miami Beach City Council

Sanitation services are often an under-appreciated piece of the fabric that makes our city a great place to live. These services are essential for North Miami Beach to remain clean and help eliminate serious public health hazards.

Advocates of sending our tax dollars to a private company promise that this will save money but many times the projected savings fall short and service quality declines.

Now, the mayor and city commission are considering a proposal to outsource the jobs of our city’s dedicate sanitation workers. This would strip them of their voice on the job, take away their benefits and eliminate positions that give fair pay for a fair’s day work.

Add your name and together let's make clear that North Miami Beach taxes should go to keeping the city clean, strong and vibrant, not to lining the pockets of private company CEOs.

North Miami Beach taxes should go keep the city clean, strong and vibrant, not to lining the pockets of private company CEOs.

The city's sanitation workers are dedicated public servants who are integral to keeping North Miami Beach going.

Time and time again, the public pays more and gets lower quality of services from outsourced contracts while workers lose a good job.
