It's time to make Louisiana K-12 public school funding a TOP priority!

Members of the Louisiana House of Representatives and Senate

For far too long, Louisiana's K-12 public schools have been deprived of the financial resources needed to properly to keep up with the growing demands of today's school climate. It's time to make fully funding our K-12 public schools a TOP priority.

All Louisiana children deserve to have access to the proper resources and tools at school that can help them compete with their classmates across the nation. This means our elected officials need to make wise investments in our public education system.

Services like early childhood education and access to proper, in-school mental/health care and tools like up-to-date textbooks, high-speed internet access, and classrooms small enough to allow for teachers to give students one-on-one attention all contribute to well-rounded educational experiences for Louisiana's children.

Fully funding our public schools would also present an opportunity for Louisiana to reward its hardworking teachers and school support personnel with long overdue pay increases, helping the state recruit (and also retain) the best and brightest to our schools for our students.

Providing our public schools with the funding needed to meet children's needs is the right thing to do. Please add your name if you agree.
