Fair contract NOW for Forbes Union
Forbes CEO Sherry Phillips and Chief Content Officer Randall Lane
We, the Forbes Union, are a union of nearly 90 reporters, editors, producers, and designers, who work hard every day to tell impactful stories about society’s most powerful and important people.
Our new CEO Sherry Phillips says she wants to see a reset in approach at the bargaining table. We have yet to see that.

I stand with the over 90 union members at Forbes who are demanding that management stop union-busting and interference immediately.
It is alarming that Forbes Media has treated the union with such tremendous disrespect and hostility. It shouldn’t be hard for the company to compromise on the issues their employees care most about. Forbes presents itself as an honest ambassador for old-fashioned free enterprise – but it’s far less likely to give its workers a fair deal. That’s not principled capitalism. It’s just greed.
It’s been over four years since the Forbes union formed. I hope you come to the table ready to bargain in good faith and reach a fair deal with your workers. If not, I stand ready to support Forbes workers in any further actions in their contract fight.
