Stop Trump from Deporting 50,000 Haitians

President Donald Trump

Temporary Protected Status,” or TPS, allows more than 50,000 Haitian nationals working in the United States to be here. If President Donald Trump does not extend TPS for Haitians by May 23, thousands will have to choose between returning to a country still recovering from national disaster or lose their jobs and be forced to live in the shadows as undocumented immigrants.

Please add your name to tell President Trump and his administration to extend the TPS for more than 50,000 hardworking, taxpaying Haitian immigrants who have proudly served people in Florida and beyond for years.

We, the undersigned, call on President Trump and his administration to extend the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for more than 50,000 Haitian immigrants living and working in the U.S. set to expire this summer. Failure to renew TPS would not only break apart families and further devastate a country still recovering from natural disasters, but it also would negatively affect the hospitality industry in Florida and other areas in the U.S. that depend on the labor of many Haitian workers currently on TPS.
