Stride forward with Stride S3
The Sound Transit Board and Lake Forest Park City Council

The Stride S3 bus rapid transit line will speed commuters and community members through growing cities north of Lake Washington, and connect them with the light rail and other transit networks. It is needed now. Sound Transit has key votes in the coming months that can move this project ahead, and city councils along the route could face pressure to slow or obstruct the project.
This petition is organized by Lake Forest Park residents who want to see the project move forward. If you live in Lake Forest Park, or if you will benefit from bringing this project to a quick completion, please sign and join us in urging all involved to move quickly.

We are residents of Lake Forest Park and people who rely on rapid public transit along State Route 522. Lake Forest Park voters demanded a rapid bus line on Bothell Way before the ST3 vote, and the city's voters overwhelmingly supported that initiative — over 60% support citywide. We want this project to move forward, and so do transit riders and commuters who use that route.
We know it's been a long process to get construction plans this far, and we think it's time to break ground and bring the rapid bus to our community and our region. Please don't let a handful of unrepresentative voices deprive our family and neighbors of a connection to clean, quick, accessible public transit to our neighboring cities and the entire Puget Sound region.
