SSPs are a safe and cost-effective strategy to reduce the transmission of bloodborne illnesses like HIV and HCV, promote recovery, and improve public health and safety.
The CDC has over 30 years of research that demonstrates the positive impact SSPs have on community health and it’s time that Pennsylvania joined over 30 states across the country to reduce harm and save lives with Syringe Service Programs.
