Windsor Terrace and South Slope need more homes!

Windsor Terrace and South Slope have become increasingly unaffordable in recent years. In order to keep our neighborhoods affordable and inclusive, we must come together to ensure that housing growth keeps up with demand. We must:

  • Give people opportunities to find affordable homes.
  • Provide opportunities for the community to welcome new neighbors.

Arrow Linen is exploring options for creating new homes on their property at 441 and 467 Prospect Avenue. This is an opportunity to expand our much-needed affordable housing stock through Mandatory Inclusionary Housing and create market-rate homes to take the pressure off of our existing housing stock. Your signature shows your support of building homes and welcoming new neighbors to the South Slope and Windsor Terrace area. The site:

  • Is a short walk to the 15 St-Prospect Park subway stop
  • Has access to protected bike infrastructure

Building new homes here is a climate-friendly action that reduces car dependency. Standing in the way of new homes will only perpetuate the displacement that is occurring in our community and make our neighborhoods less inclusive and welcoming. Supporting new homes here means helping keep our neighborhood affordable, taking important climate action, and creating new opportunities in our neighborhood.

Take action now, show your support for new homes!
