Support the Bridger Peaks Tenant Union to win safe and dignified housing

President David Ratliff of DevCo LLC and President Noel Gill of Northwest Real Estate

We the tenants of Bridger Peaks Apartments are a senior community of former and current teachers, blue collar workers, service workers, veterans, parents and grandparents.

Bridger Peaks Apartments was bought out by DevCo Residential Group, a corporate landlord based in Washington that owns over 10,000 units of housing across the country. Our building is managed by Tamarack Property, which is owned by Northwest Real Estate out of Idaho.

Now for the past couple years we have lived in unsafe and undignified conditions. We have had enough. We deserve dignity, safety and respect.

The Bridger Peaks Tenants are demanding that:

  • Critical repairs to our building are made immediately (front door, parking lot lights, HVAC system, etc.)

  • Tenants are treated with respect instead of being threatened with eviction

  • An onsite maintenance person is hired

We are calling on our corporate landlord, David Ratliff, the President of DevCo LLC, and Noel Gill, the President of Northwest Real Estate which owns Tamarack Property, to meet face to face to discuss our demands for safe and dignified living conditions.

For months we have tried to reach David Ratliff and Noel Gill via email and phone, but have been stonewalled and ignored every step of the way. We will not take ‘no’ for an answer. Sign on to this petition to support Bridger Peaks Tenants and our fight for safe and dignified housing.

We the tenants of Bridger Peaks Apartments are a senior community of former and current teachers, blue collar workers, service workers, veterans, parents and grandparents. Many of us have lived in this building since its opening in December 2004. We take care of one another and like to think of this building as our home.

Since DevCo and Northwest Real Estate took over we have lived in unsafe and undignified conditions. We have had enough. We deserve dignity, safety and respect.

We demand an in-person meeting with David Ratliff, President of DevCo LLC and Noel Gill, President of Northwest Real Estate to discuss our demands for safe and dignified housing.

Respectfully,

Bridger Peaks Tenants, Bozeman Tenants United, and the Bozeman Community
