Support the immigrant community fighting for drivers licenses in NJ

Speaker Craig Coughlin

Right now, allies from Cosecha and Close the Camps NYC are taking action to push Licenses for All for the undocumented community in New Jersey.

Sign the petition to stand in solidarity with immigrants in NJ.

We all need to take action now. Because for more than 15 years the immigrant community has been given a false promise. The false promise of a future in which they no longer have to drive with fear that they will be stopped and picked up by ICE.

This year, we will make sure this decade long promise becomes a reality. We are more defiant, more hopeful, and more organized -- and we are going to fight like hell for our dignity and our right to drive without fear.

Sign the petition now to support our undocumented friends and neighbors right to apply for a driver’s license.

Everyday immigrant families leave their homes in fear, as they step into their car to drive to work, pick up their kids at school, or take their children to the doctor. Fourteen states in the country have laws in place allowing all residents to apply for a driver's license regardless of immigration status.

Let’s make Massachusetts the next state to uphold this right for the nearly 500,000 people in NJ without legal status.

The immigrant community and their allies are coming together to demand that legislators follow through on their promises to protect immigrants in the state of New Jersey.

The community will show cultural resistance over the course of three days and nights in front of the state house! Join us in showing that the people united will never be defeated!

Let’s make Massachusetts the next state to uphold this right for the more than 250,000 people in MA without legal status.
