Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh would be a disaster for net neutrality
U.S. Senate
Confirmation hearings just ended for anti-net neutrality Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, who is expected to put telecom giants before Internet users and could kill any net neutrality rules that make it to the country’s highest court. His appointment would put the Congressional Review Act (CRA), California’s newly-passed net neutrality bill, and other efforts to preserve the open Internet in danger.
The FCC’s repeal of net neutrality is a temporary setback. But if Brett Kavanaugh is confirmed to the Supreme Court, he could truly send it to its grave.
Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings just ended and Senators are now deciding how they’ll vote. Sign on to tell your senator: “Supreme Court nominee Kavanaugh must not be confirmed. Any elected representative who supports net neutrality must oppose his confirmation.”
