T-Mobile: Stop Silencing Victims of Harassment!

T-Mobile

Angela Agganis worked for T-Mobile US at a call center in Maine as a customer service representative for nearly eight years – until the day she went to Human Resources to complain about sexual harassment.

When Angela told T-Mobile’s management that her supervisor was inappropriately touching her and making her feel uncomfortable, the company’s response was shocking: they told her to return to work for the same supervisor – and they made her sign a non-disclosure agreement and threatened her with discipline if she discussed the matter with her co-workers.

Rather than being silenced, isolated, and subjected to harassment, Angela resigned.

She contacted her union, TU. Together they went to the labor board, and T Mobile was found guilty of violating her rights -- now we have to hold them accountable, so they can't try to silence workers and sweep sexual harassment under the rug again.

Will you sign the petition asking T-Mobile to end the gag orders against women speaking out against sexual harassment on the job?

T-Mobile had to notify all the employees at Angela’s call center that this policy was rescinded and that they have the right to speak to each other and seek assistance from others about workplace issues like sexual harassment, but the rest of T-Mobile's 40,000 employees need to know too.

Will you sign the petition today? It's time for T-Mobile to learn that the public won't stand for multimillion-dollar companies that silences women.

It’s time to stop silencing women who speak out against harassment. T-Mobile should retract these policies in every workplace in the United States and inform their employees of the retraction and of their rights to speak out.

Everyone, especially victims of sexual harassment and other forms of discrimination, must be made aware of their right to speak out and to seek support from others about workplace issues.

We have a right to a safe workplace, and a right to speak out when we’re harassed!
End the intimidation and gag orders today.
