Take the Pledge: Protect Our Elections

We deserve to live in the country we were promised, where the people choose who is in power. But right now, those in power are trying to pick their voters. And that ain't right.

A group of people are heading to a ballot box. Three of them hold signs saying, "Protect" "Our" "Votes"

The powerful few profit from dividing us along racial lines—and they’re working hard to suppress our voices.

The Supreme Court has gutted the Voting Rights Act. A redistricting fight, designed to silence Black voters, is playing out in front of our eyes. Trump has issued executive orders designed to make voting more difficult and meddle with voting equipment. And he has weaponized the Department of Justice to threaten election officials.

This is a sacrifice we’re not willing to make. Protecting our right to vote is key to empowering our communities to shape our future.

Take the pledge today, and promise to join us in standing together for election protection.

I pledge to safeguard election systems and counter election sabotage.

Our democracy is under assault. The Trump administration has launched a coordinated campaign to undermine free and fair elections. But I will not let them remove the freedom most core to the future of our country.

I promise to engage in key election protection activities, like:
- Regularly checking my voter registration status, and encouraging friends and family to do the same.
- Voting early if possible. If I vote on Election Day, I will show up early and wait as long as needed to ensure my voice is heard. If polls close, I will stay in line.
- Volunteering to get out the vote in my community, because the more people show up, the harder it is to rig the vote.
- Reaching out to local election officials to volunteer my services as a poll worker, and monitoring polling places for interference or intimidation.
- Opposing efforts to purge voter rolls, restrict mail-in voting, or impose barriers that disproportionately harm Black, brown, and working communities.
- And, if election interference clearly happens in a way that drastically disrupts the results, engaging in protest where and when we need it.

Please keep me updated on election protection work, and how I can engage.
