Tell Burgerville: Play By the Rules

Jeffrey Harvey, President/CEO of Burgerville, LLC

Burgerville isn't playing by the rules. As you may have read in the Northwest Labor Press, as many as seven workers have been fired after speaking out in favor of organizing a union.  Management has claimed each of these firings happened for reasons unrelated to union organizing, however, it cannot and will not be overlooked that each of the workers fired was active in the Burgerville Workers Union.

This is simply unacceptable.  It's time to call for Burgerville to play by the rules, rehire the workers and recognize the union. Enough is enough.

Mr. Harvey,

We, the signers of this petition, are outraged at the reported firings of as many as seven workers at Burgerville locations in Oregon and SW Washington. Burgerville management has claimed each of these firings happened for reasons unrelated to union organizing. However, it cannot and will not be overlooked that each of the workers fired was active in the campaign to form a union at Burgerville. That is simply unacceptable.

We call on you to rehire the terminated workers, and to formally recognize the Burgerville Workers Union. It is time to take your company’s community-oriented image and turn it into real actions which benefit the people who make your restaurants run.
