We think the City of Seattle and King County shouldn't invest our money in any of Musk's enterprises. Dozens of cities across the US are already boycotting and considering divesting from Musk's companies.

We call for Seattle and King County to immediately end purchases from Musk-controlled companies, and to divest from stock in those companies.
We call for:
- All government agencies to commit to doing no future business – including procurements, subsidies or other investment of public monies – with: Tesla, SpaceX, Starlink, xAI, Boring Company, X, and any other Musk-controlled business entity.
- King County and City of Seattle to cancel all current contracts with Tesla and other Musk-controlled business entities, or any business entity or subcontractor that benefits Musk financially.
After donating more than a quarter billion dollars to Trump’s election, Musk has led the so-called Department of Government Efficiency in gutting federal agencies, illegally freezing billions of dollars allocated to our state, King County and Seattle.
Local Federal workers are losing their jobs; often terminated with no notice, severance or respect. Our community services and clinics are losing access to critical funding, including for military veterans. Families can no longer count on utility assistance.
These cuts are hurting people in our communities here and now. We call for all levels of government in Washington to stand with cities and states across the country against DOGE.
