Tell President Biden: End Reagan Era Marijuana Drug Testing
President Biden
Early in his first year in office, it was widely reported that the Biden Administration fired and rescinded job offers to individuals for their previous consumption of marijuana.
The Administration claims that they are merely following the long-established policy. But in fact, this policy was only established by Executive Order in 1986 by the anti-marijuana zealot Ronald Reagan.
Tell President Biden: it’s time to end the reefer madness and end pre-employment and random drug screening for marijuana.

President Biden,
For more than 30 years, a Reagan-era Executive Order has mandated that federal agencies conduct discriminatory pre-employment and random drug testing for federal employees.
Thousands of American companies followed suit and today Americans who are wholly qualified for jobs are discriminated against for their private choice to consume cannabis off the clock.
This restricts employers’ ability to attract top talent, suppresses economic activity, and arbitrarily holds back millions of Americans from being able to freely participate in the workforce.
It is time to repeal this Reagan-esque Reefer Madness. It is time to rescind Executive Order 12564.
