Tell SPLC: Support your employees’ right to organize!

Southern Poverty Law Center Board of Directors and Senior Leadership

A supermajority of Southern Poverty Law Center staff signed union authorization cards and filed an election petition with the NLRB. We asked leadership to voluntarily recognize the SPLC Union. Instead, they hired a "union avoidance" law firm.

The SPLC Union Organizing committee said that "The Center cannot truly claim to support workers' rights, while also hiring a 'union avoidance' law firm to prevent its own workers from exercising our right to collective bargaining.”

Please sign our petition and let's remind the Southern Poverty Law Center Board of Directors that we are watching.

The Center cannot truly claim to support workers' rights, while also hiring a 'union avoidance' law firm to prevent its own workers from exercising their right to collective bargaining.

Please respect the rights of your employees to join together and form a union. Union busting tactics have no place in this organization. We are counting on SPLC to do the right thing and recognize the union.
