Tell state lawmakers that Pennsylvanians needs a raise!

Pennsylvania House of Representatives

All of the states neighboring Pennsylvania have a minimum wage above the federal requirement of $7.25 per hour. It’s time for our state representatives to step up and give working Pennsylvanians the raise they deserve.

It’s been more than a decade since the minimum wage has been increased in Pennsylvania. While lawmakers sat on their hands, the cost of living, inflation and rent have continued to go up. To afford rent on a typical two-bedroom unit in our Commonwealth, renters need to earn an average hourly wage of $17.25 — more than twice the current minimum wage.

After decades of wage stagnation, Pennsylvania's working people deserve more than poverty wages.
