Throughout the presidential campaign Donald Trump claimed that he was the only Republican candidate who would protect Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Yet, his new budget includes $1.7 trillion in cuts to critical programs including Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Medicaid.
This is an utter betrayal of a core campaign promise.
