The unveiling of Donald Trump’s FY2018 budget is just days away and we’re hearing reports that it will cut programs Trump promised to protect.
In addition to the $839 billion Medicaid cut passed by the House of Representatives as part of the American Health Care Act, Trump’s budget reportedly cuts another $800 billion from Medicaid, food stamps, Meals on Wheels and more―all programs critical to seniors and working families.
And, now it’s being reported that Trump’s budget will include cuts to Social Security Disability Insurance.
We will not stand by as Donald Trump and Paul Ryan cut, privatize and destroy the future of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
