UCOP Management: No curtailments for UCOP employees!
Leadership of the University of California Office of the President
We, THE UNDERSIGNED MEMBERS OF THE UC COMMUNITY, call on leadership to rescind the planned curtailment program at UC Office of the President.
CX bargaining unit members have been asked to take days off work without pay to cover a mere $23,000 budgetary shortfall. This plan disregards the impact this lost time will have on the services UCOP staff provide to UC employees systemwide. RASC and UCPath Center employees are already overworked and facing serious backlogs.
UCOP management found $400,000+ to hire temporary workers but are somehow unable to address a $23,000 budget shortfall without curtailments. More troubling, their attempted resolution failed to reduce UCPath's backlog of 8,000+ cases or their troubling hold times of two or more hours.
UCOP: Support your staff and customers—the systemwide UC employees! Rescind the curtailment!
